| About Us ClassicsWithoutCable.com grew out of our frustration in trying to find old classics and family viewing on TV. Our new site includes brief notes on most DVDs by Gord Wilson, who also reviews on Amazon, and who often includes ratings from film critic Leonard Maltin. ClassicsWithoutCable is the sister site of Cartoons Without Cable, originally part of alivingdog.com. As cartoon lovers, we realized that you didn't need cable with all the great cartoons coming out on DVD. The idea is simple. Play one episode a day as if it were on cable. Mix with other cartoons or shows, throw in an occasional movie, and voila! custom viewing for you and your family. Site Overview Use the menu on the right side of the Classics Without Cable home page to browse through the categories. Click Classic TV on DVD to show the TV menu. Here's a brief guide to what's in each category: Video Downloads (new) Movies and classic TV you can watch in three formats on your PC or TiVo DVR. Rent or buy video downloads (note: the PC version is DRM coded, which is Microsoft proprietary, and not currently available for a Mac).
